Testing & User Experience:
We tested the Chenedy leash with Levi, our 10 lb Mini Goldendoodle. The standard handle was comfortable to hold, and the 6-foot leash length provided enough freedom for him to sniff and explore during our walks. The lightweight design was perfect for him and didn't restrict movement at all. The traffic, or second handle, truly came in handy when encountering other dogs or distractions. Switching to the closer handle allowed for a gentle correction and a reminder to focus on the walk. When correcting a dog on a leash, it's best to pull up (not back). The second handle is perfect for this! Levi adjusts to the correction MUCH better this way! We also tested it on two 65 lb Labradoodles, Oreo and Max, who are full of life and can be quite energetic on walks! The Chenedy leash held up beautifully, demonstrating its strength and durability right away. The double handle was especially helpful when passing other dogs. Switching to the traffic handle allowed us to easily keep them close and focused on the walk. There’s a whole new level of confidence knowing you have such control with large dogs!
